Records daily financial transactions from April 1, 1841 through 1844. Such activities as framing, casing windows, making doors and sashes, mending plows, turning posts, working on wagons, and making washstands, bedsteads, etc. are mentioned. Several of the entries refer to exchanges with W.P. Reynolds, probably a tailor, and document the purchase of vest patterns, cloth for a coat, and articles of clothing. The keeper also bought such items as lumber, saws, a tool chest, hardware, pocket knives, hats, and textiles.
